All Conquering (XFM Live Exclusive)

A song played live during the later days of The Crocketts. This recording was made live during a session for XFM radio in London.

If we don't believe we are all conquering
how shall we conquer?
If we don't believe we can decieve
what can we achive?

Our love is blown to smitherines
God made us mean
and angry.
I love it

Our love is blown to smitherines
God made us mean
and angry.
I love it

If we don't alter our state
how shall we create?
If we never (?) (?) (?) (?)
why are you so fake?

Our love is blown to smitherines
God made us mean
and angry.
I love it

Our love is blown to smitherines
God made us mean
and angry.
I love it

No hope in chasing after
Perfect disaster.
Slave to the (?) essence
Like fly floresence.

Born loosers never dream of
liberation.
We lost our will to live at
the creation.

La Sinoco (XFM Live Exclusive)

Another song played live during the later days of The Crocketts. This recording was also made live during a session for XFM radio in London.

I would like you to know
it was stupid of me
to not notice
the world's on your shoulders.

I would like to say or so
it was wrong of me
to laugh when your skin
grew colder.

It was a black day in old La Sinoco
when I believed I could see through her eyes.
It was a black day in old La Sinoco
when I believed I could see through her eyes.

We hated each other
from the moment we met.
She was scared of the dark
I was black as a pot bellied pig.

It was sink or sink
It was kill or be killed
It was I'm going
you're coming with me.

It was a black day in old La Sinoco
when I believed I could see through her eyes.
It was a black day in old La Sinoco
when I believed I could see through her eyes.

I wanna watch the greatest movie
that you've ever seen.
Just imerse yourself in water
realise you're little dream.

Just wanna run and watch the greatest movie
that you've ever seen.
Just imerse yourself in water
realise you're little dream.

It was a black day in old La Sinoco
when I believed I could see through her eyes.
It was a black day in old La Sinoco
when I believed I could see through her eyes.

It was a black day in old La Sinoco
On the sad morning she whispered goodbye.
It was a black day in old La Sinoco
On the sad morning she whispered goodbye.

Milk & Honey

I half-inched this one off Napster. It's a demo made god-knows when. I'd say it sounds like around James Dean-esque times.

I think in (?) to smoke away
Into the hills and sky
And under every damp bring
The air drifts my side

And by and by the hazeldrops
I'll always breathe in silouetes
And under every damp bridge
The air drifts my side

Blow me down
Smile at all the slaupers
Drip and dribble all around
What a great big mess
Cigarette on the floor
With knives and doors and death
I am smiling and (?)
You'll still (?)
My hand makes little rabbits on the wall
My hand makes little rabbits on the wall
My hand makes little rabbits on the wall

I had a dream
I dreamt of (?)
(?)
In my pjamas

I think in (?) to smoke away
Into the hills and sky
And under every damp bring
The air drifts my side

And by and by the hazeldrops
I'll always breathe in silouetes
And under every damp bridge
The air drifts my side

Blow me down
Smile at all the slaupers
Drip and dribble all around
What a great big mess
Cigarette on the floor
With knives and doors and death
I am smiling and (?)
You're still (?)
My hand makes little rabbits on the wall
My hand makes little rabbits on the wall
My hand makes little rabbits on the wall
My hand makes little rabbits on the wall

Opposite Ends (Live 2003)

Performed at the MS1 Club in Cardiff by The Criema, the lyrics are up here because of the extra first two paragraphs. In Crox days they used to play a recording of a girl reading a poem before they played this song, these are possibly the lyrics to the poem.

All through the night we drove by the ghosts of road accidents past,
women and children, faces contorted, laying half dead...
All through the night we drove by the ghosts of road accidents past,
women and children once dearly beloved, maimed faces contorted on the roadside verge.

I struggle to think of a beastier beast than the beast I became upon crossing swords with the use of stimulants.
I was lost in a blizzard, ended up in darkest Solihull, eyes double glazed, seeing quadrupled, barley a whisper of the man i used to be.
Only now does the gravity of past even begin to rattle the conscience, a tidlewave of guilt unleashed and rippling towards me,
a lifetime of lies and amateur surgery... Massacre...

Done something real bad this time, practically signed my own death warrant, she was staring right at me burning my eyelashes.
Just the two of us left in this rusty old tub, neither overjoyed to be out of love.
It takes one black cloud to spoil the bright day, I was the black cloud, she was the bright day.
Isobelle, remember how it used to feel? Isobelle, remember how it used to feel, feel, feel, feel...

You and I are not those screaming animals with yellow jealous eyes,
are not the decoration of the battle last night
when we wake up in the morning both at opposite ends,
wake up in the morning both at opposite ends.

You look so good I wanna see hundreds and thousands of you crawling through the dirt like a crusade of half dead bluebottles.
Our brains leave their sculls, walk the tightrope of a rabbit in the headlight, stares, melting together like pink and white marshmallows.
Yeah I was a fool and yes you were a fool but who can name a penny that has not been in the pocket of a fool, of a fool, of a fool, of a fool.
Remember how it used to feel? Isobelle, remember how it used to feel, feel, feel, feel...

You and I are not those screaming animals with yellow jealous eyes,
are not the decoration of the battle last night
when we wake up in the morning both at opposite ends,
wake up in the morning both at opposite ends.

Isobelle, Isobelle, remember how it used to feel?
Isobelle, Isobelle, remember how it used to feel, feel, feel, feel, feel...

Ring Of Fire

Performed live around 2000, Rich took over vocals on this cover of the Johnny Cash classic while Owen filled in on Bass.

Love is a burning thing
and it makes a firery ring
bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire.

I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
and the flames went higher.
And it burns, burns, burns
the ring of fire
the ring of fire.

The taste of love is sweet
when hearts like our's meet
I fell for you like a child
oh, but the fire went wild...

I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I fell in to a burning ring of fire...

Will You Still Care (Christmas Version)

The special Christmas vesion of the song was performed live a few times furing the festive period. It's the same as the original other than chorus of...

Merry fucking Christmas,
I hope that it will snow,
I don't fucking ho ho,
I'd rather fuck a ho.
