Seriously, how many times have you had a bidder cancel a bid on an item, using the “Entered wrong amount” option when they’re clearly just taking the piss, no longer wanting to pay as much for an item as they did a day ago, at the same time confusing and alienating all previous bidders -especially when they’ve now won an item they’ve already purchased elsewhere after being outbid - and putting off all other pottential bidders while they’d upped the price?
Well, for once, I’m proud to announce that today someone actually cancelled a bid, for entering the wrong amount, when they actually entered the wrong amount! Who knew such an event could ever occur. Well, it did, just now.
PS2 Network Access Disc. Starting bid: 0.49p. Current bid: 0.65p.
Retracted bids: £90.00 Explanation:Entered wrong amount.
No shit. Even the Network Adapter add-on ain’t worth that much
Thankyou, debbiedottp, you just made my day.
Now I must go spend the rest of it packaging games, licking stamps and sniffing glue. And it ain’t even for pleasure. Oh what joy.
