Another update on the progress of my eBay price data thing. If you’re wondering why I’m just giving screenshots, it’s because the real thing still has a load of open, unauthenticated, possibly buggy, deffinately security flawed forms to enter data. That and it’s currently using my own eBay login to access the eBay site. So just to be on the safe side, it’s staying hidden until it’s suitable for viewing.
But, as you can see to the right, I now have real eBay price data (and CeX prices, a UK (and minorly US) electronics trade in store), updated at will by the push of a button. Just a little more work and it should be able to update them on it’s own, or at least update a whole bunch of entries at once. Basically though, all it needs is a few thousand games entered, and a few clicks of “update ebay” / “update cex” every now and then, a fancy chart display, and VGPC shall be quaking in their American stetson boots. Or not. Meh. Anyone know of any more data they’d like recorded for games? I’ve already sidelined publishers, getting multiple ones for a game to work was gonna be a whole bunch of crazyness.
